LUMIX Tether Download Program
LUMIX Tether is a dedicated, free software program by Panasonic that allows you to control select LUMIX cameras from your computer, view a live feed, and instantly transfer photos or videos. It supports USB, Wi-Fi and LAN connections, and is available for both Windows and macOS.

How to Connect
- Connect: link your LUMIX camera and computer using a USB-C cable, Wi-Fi or an Ethernet adapter.
- Set the Camera: turn the camera on and select the [PC (Tether)] mode from the camera's display menu.
- Launch the App: open the LUMIX Tether software on your computer — it will detect and link with your camera automatically.
Compatibility & Downloads
LUMIX Tether is available for both Windows and Mac operating systems and works with most modern LUMIX models, including the S-series (S1, S1R, S1H, S5, S5II, S5IIX, S9, S1RII, S1II, S1IIE, BS1H), the GH-series (GH5, GH5S, GH5II, GH6, GH7), the G-series (G9, G9II) and box cameras like the BGH1. The latest version is v2.12, released on Nov. 26, 2025.
LUMIX Tether for Streaming & Multicam
Earlier "LUMIX Tether for Multicam" and "LUMIX Tether for streaming (Beta)" releases have been merged into the main LUMIX Tether app. From v2.0 onward, LUMIX Tether supports multiple connections (up to 12 cameras at the same time) and a no-GUI live view mode that's ideal for clean HDMI capture into OBS, vMix, Wirecast and similar streaming software.
Customers using AW-UB10 or AW-UB50 should use LUMIX Tether ver. 2.8.

- Please update firmware of the camera body to the latest version before use.
- This software is not designed to enable you to control all functions of your digital camera.
- When Picture Size is set to XL in High Resolution Mode, you cannot check XL image with the original image quality because it is resized on review window.
* The file itself is not resized, only viewing image is resized. - When adjusting the picture quality in Photo Style, the Grain Effect will not be visualized on live view window.
- When controlling camera remotely with LUMIX Tether, it is recommended to connect with USB or wired LAN.
If you use wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), the connection may be interrupted depending on the network environment.
