LUMIX Tether download: the official source and what to check
LUMIX Tether is published by Panasonic and should be downloaded from Panasonic. This page tells you what you will find there and what to verify — it is not a mirror. We removed the copy that used to be hosted here because a third-party copy of camera software cannot be proven authentic.
Download from Panasonic
The support page lists separate Windows and macOS installers, the file size, and the release date.

Before you install
- Check that your body is supported and which minimum version it needs — see the compatibility table.
- Update the camera firmware first. Panasonic pairs application releases with body firmware, and a mismatch shows up as a camera that connects but misbehaves.
- Install as an administrator with other applications closed.
- Have a data-rated USB-C cable ready. Charge-only cables are the most common reason a fresh install appears broken.
Why we do not host the installer
Search results for camera software are full of re-hosted installers, and there is no way for a visitor to tell a clean copy from a repackaged one. Panasonic's page is the only source where the build, the version and the release date can be checked against the vendor. Anything you find here is documentation, not software.
After installing
LUMIX Tether is developed and distributed by Panasonic. Always install it from Panasonic's official download page. This site does not host or mirror the installer.
