Connecting the LUMIX GH6
- Install LUMIX Tether 2.1 or later from Panasonic, and update the body's firmware first.
- Power the camera from mains through a DC coupler for any session longer than a few minutes.
- Set Setup → IN/OUT → USB → USB Mode → PC(Tether).
- Connect a data-rated USB cable directly to the computer, then launch the application.
- Select the body in the camera list and confirm live view appears before you start shooting.

Body firmware and application version are paired. After updating the GH6, update LUMIX Tether to the current release as well.
Live view is heavily delayed.
Lower the live view image quality in the application, and confirm the link negotiated USB 3.x rather than falling back to USB 2.0.
