Step-by-step
- Download LUMIX Tether v2.12 for your OS from the homepage.
- Install and reboot when prompted (Windows only).
- Set the camera's USB mode to PC (Tether): MENU → Setup → USB Mode.
- Launch LUMIX Tether — the camera model appears in the connect list.
- Click Connect. Live view appears; every setting is now clickable on screen.
Common pitfalls
- Charge-only USB cable — swap for a data cable.
- Camera in PC (Storage) mode instead of PC (Tether).
- Firmware older than the version listed in the compatibility table — see supported cameras.
