Update LUMIX Camera Firmware Before Tethering (2026)

If the camera does not appear in LUMIX Tether, the body firmware is almost always behind. Update before troubleshooting cables or USB ports.

5–10 minutes, full battery required, do not turn off the camera

Re-launch Tether — the body now reports as connected over USB-C
